I get the feeling I was kinda disappointed but I have no idea why. Other than that, I haven't remembered anything.

Do you...tend to have emotions attached to your memories, then? Given that you've mentioned disappointment, and fondness for Morgrim and the like. ...And not caring, I suppose, though that's more a lack thereof...

Yeah, usually. Some of 'em don't have anything at all - like the tunnels - but usually there's something, even if it's just "I really wanna fight that guy". Morgrim was real important to me, but I get the feeling she's one of only a few who was. I don't know if that's accurate or not, though.

You haven't had any feelings with your memories, though? That's kinda weird.

...I've had one where I was very upset, and I was very angry in another one. But otherwise...no, not really. I feel like I really should have reacted in some way to several of the others - in that one where we were hunting, I was certainly acting like a reasonably normal person? But there was nothing behind it.

It's...strange; it doesn't seem right.

Yeah, that seems a little off. You were acting normal, but not feeling anything... Huh. You don't usually have problems with apathy or anything like that now, right?

Yeah, I didn't think so. I guess it's possible you had trouble with that sort of thing in your past life, but maybe it's something else. You'll probably find out eventually.

It would be nice to know, at least. I do get the feeling that I wasn't a very good person, but this is still strange, even so.

Yeah, definitely. I guess there's not much to do but wait and see.

So how are you holding up with the memories and stuff? None of it's been too bad, has it?

...Some of it has been worse, some of it better. I don't seem to have been a very happy person, and I'm prepared for things to be unfortunate based on some of the things I've seen.

I haven't gotten anything terrible back yet, so I've been doing fine. I've got no idea how things'll turn out, but I'm not really expecting anything good.

[The most he knows is "really wanted to fight" and "okay with letting people get eaten by the void" so it's not a good look right now.]

Don't worry too much about me, though. I'll be fine!

You can stop by whenever you'd like, work's usually kinda slow during the week, and I don't mind the company.

I am still teaching, but my hours aren't that bad this semester. Perhaps I'll come by once in a while, if you're that bored.

A lot of the people I've got helping me out tend to be by either early in the morning or after work, so there's a ton of dead time during the day. I'd definitely appreciate it!

Well, unfortunately you won't be able to recruit me to volunteer. But I can come by sometimes.

I'll also tell you if I remember anything else that might be important. The most I have now is that I was an exorcist, whatever that means in a world like that, and I was apparently good at my job. I was in charge of some organization called the Abbey.
