POWERS: Shigure is one of the strongest fighters in Tales of Berseria, and he's said to be the strongest swordsman in the world. He focuses exclusively on that so he doesn't have any magic to worry about. He does have a cat-like companion who can chill inside him (which she'll be doing most of the time anyway) named Morgrim, but she won't be assisting him in fights any.
